The following research is about the German concept of Bildung, based on the article "Bildung et Bildungsroman", by Antoine Berman. The concept is developed in five stages: Bildung in the sense of work, of travel, of translation, of returning to the ancient history and in the sense of philological practice. This research can contribute for the interpretation of works of philosophy of the art and the culture, as, for example, the passages from Hegel, from Hölderlin, from the romantic Friedrich Schlegel and from Nietzsche.
