Diagnóstico organizacional participativo: potenciais e limites na análise de organizações

The increasing complexity that involve organizations in the middle in which they are inserted has lead its members and the researchers of the management area to continuous quests for new and more suitable approaches for analysis. However, the major part of these theorical and practice efforts are shown not to have reached the expected results, because the gamut of available methods which the more distinct characteristics, haven’t learnt the contradictions and connections that compound the organization. A urgent need to adapt these methods to the social and organizational needs is characterized, overcoming the traditional scientific methods. A proposal of change would be the use of Rapid Organizational Appraisal. The present paper tries to evaluate the possibilities to adopt this methodology to the nowadays changes needs, and also to discuss the limits and restrictions to its applicability in the real context of the organization and society.
