Bibliotherapy and Hermeneutic: revisiting Gadamer and Ouaknin

ABSTRACT

It presents some concepts present in the field of hermeneutical philosophy and makes a relation with elements of the bibliotherapeutic process in the care of being. It explores the thinking of the philosophers Ouaknin and Gadamer, at the same time that it dialogues with authors of different areas like Information Science, Literature, Anthropology and Psychology. It is based on an exploratory bibliographic research with a bibliographic view and a qualitative approach. It concludes that Bibliotherapy goes beyond care through the stories and emphasizes the importance of dialogue, interaction and interpretation in the bibliotherapeutic process.
