ABSTRACT
It describes the presence of international theories in Argentine Physical Education since the 1970s. It demonstrates how the dialogue with authors and literature from abroad, particularly Germany, France, Spain, Portugal and Brazil, was important for the criticism of the tradition of the discipline, which allowed a renewal of its status epistemological and pedagogical, with reflections on the current curricular legislation. It uses, as a source, interviews with 4 Argentine university professors and the available bibliography on the subject.
