Ciência e ética: alguns aspectos

The discussion on science and ethics, if placed in a radical level, needs previously to pass for “human being” philosophical conception, “ethics” and “science”. In the existentialist perspective, the man is a being capable of self-determination, which means, to be subject of knowledge and of action. In consequence, in the ethical field, everything that removes or decreases this subject dimension is considered violence. By its turn, the western modern science contains itself a wide dominance project: of the nature, of himself and of the other. Therefore, an ethical science is only possible starting from a new posture before the own science and the society values built under its sign.

science; ethics; change of paradigm
