The epistemology of practice in stricto sensu academic production on teacher training in Physical Education

ABSTRACT

This research aimed to understand how the theories that support the so-called epistemology of practice are present in the academic debate on the training of Physical Education teachers. This is a bibliographical research, which sought to investigate stricto sensu academic productions, selected in the Catalog of theses and dissertations of Capes, produced in the last ten years and that deal with the training of Physical Education teachers. Despite identifying productions where the ideological character of such theories is questioned, the analysis allowed us to understand that the theories that support the epistemology of practice are present in most academic productions, reinforcing the pragmatic purpose of teaching work.
