Constructing integrative scenarios in a community of practice in the context of the supervised internship in Chemistry

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the potential of the Community of Practice related to the construction, by chemistry graduates, of proposals for the reconfiguration of the Integrative Scenarios curriculum based on the formative experience during the supervised internship. To gather information, we used audio and video recordings of the meetings that were analyzed in the light of Discursive Textual Analysis. The results are presented as originating from the following emerging categories: (a) The choice of theme for the Integrative Scenario proposals and (b) The collaboration and mutual support in a Community of Practice. Besides providing opportunities for experiences of sharing ideas and solidarity, the development of proposals for Integrative Scenarios in a Community of Practice has the potential to make the internship an environment for intense learning and sharing of ideas, based on dialogue and mutual support among the participants..
